How Travel Works

In just six easy steps, you can be on your way to a new adventure.

1. Fill Out An Application

Filling out an application online immediately sends us the basic information we need to start finding your ideal assignment. However, even after you submit a completed application, you are NOT obligated to travel with us. Apply now!

2. Meet your Travel Career Planners

Once your application is accepted, you will be assigned a personal Travel Career Planner. Your Travel Career Planner will be your main contact at Berean Healthcare Staffing and will be helpful to you throughout your travel healthcare career. It is very important for you to tell the Travel Career Planner what you want to get out of traveling. Do you want to see a specific area of the country or work in a prestigious facility?

3. Select a destination

From the information you provide, your Travel Career Planner will explore assignments that best match your skills and preferences. Are you interested in exploring a big city or a small town? The East Coast or the West? Mountains and snow, or beaches and sun? Do you want to stay close to home or travel across the country? You and your Travel Career Planner will discuss the advantages of each assignment, compare what each has to offer, evaluate pay, review hospital requirements, and determine which best suits your needs.

4. Telephone interview with the facility

The next step is the telephone interview with a hospital, usually with a nurse manager. Your Travel Career Planner will help you prepare for the interview, giving you the best opportunity to be offered the job.

5. Accept the assignment

Congratulations, you've chosen your assignment! Now Berean Healthcare will help you with credentialing requirements and the licensure process in your assignment state. Housing managers will find an apartment and arrange for utilities and furniture delivery…all the details to make your assignment a rewarding and enjoyable experience.

6. Your adventure begins!

Berean Healthcare is with you every step of your assignment. We'll provide driving directions to your apartment and your facility. After you arrive, your recruiter will keep in touch to make sure everything is just right for you.
